What can I say?! When For Today originally came out, to be honest, I wasn't much of a fan because of how I liked studio albums to sound back then. Now that I have matured in my metal, I have not yet been able to go back and check their very first album out. However, "Portraits" will always have a spot in my top 5 christian metal albums of all time. So naturally, when I heard For Today was coming out with another cd I had to jump the bandwagon. I pre-ordered the cd and it got to me like 3-4 days after the release of the cd. It killed me! But it was so worth the wait!
Breaker is definitely one of my favorite metal cds now and you really can't go wrong with it. It touched many topics and areas that I'm sure many bands would be to afraid to touch as directly as they did. And I do admit, a lot of the reason I enjoy this band is it spoke to me directly. A great band full of great christian brothers. If you enjoy metal, great lyrics, a good message, and supporting bros in Christ...GO BUY BREAKER!
